I heard that dangerous radiation is generated when the speakers are being kept close to the computer monitor.
I wanted to know if anyone else heard about it.

Daryl asked:

Okay, I want to buy a TV to put in my room only for playing my PS3. But then I realized I have a computer sitting in the shed rotting away. So is there a way to connect my PS3 to the computer’s monitor? Do I have to buy a special cable or adapter or something?

My set up is digital cable box with DVI and HDMI output, can this be plugged in an LCD computer monitor, like a new Samsung (935 I think), so I can use the monitor as a TV. Let’s assume the monitor has speakers. If you know a monitor model that this works with please list it so I can check specs.

Hi. Does anyone know if it’s possible to use a background that would essentially turn my computer monitor into a mirror? Scanning a mirror doesn’t work.

I want to use my computer monitor as a screen for my PlayStation 2. What are the best ways of doing this (taking into account cost and well as quality)? I’m probably looking for a fairly inexpensive solution, although I don’t want to sacrifice too much quality.

I have an LSD monitor that has speakers on it of course but the problem is when I install the software the speakers aren’t installed with the monitor. Basically the monitor show the image but the computer isn’t detecting the speakers. Hence my question!!!! And in conjunction, the monitor was installed on another computer and the speaker worked but this computer is a different story.
The monitor has built in speakers so there aren’t seperate speakers.

suoshoten asked:

I recently made a down payment for a new computer and did not get a monitor since I intended to use my old one. I am pretty literate in knowing what makes the tower itself good but not the monitor. What kind of things would let me know if a monitor is good or not?

I don’t know much about refresh rates or “ms” and such. My monitor is a Samsung Syncmaster 753df, but I’m not sure what the 753df means. Would using my old monitor with a new tower affect its performance at all?
