The computer monitor is not in use with a computer.

My new computer monitor turns off for 40 seconds then automatically turns on for 2 minutes then off again, and the cycle continues. Moving the mouse or hitting a key does not turn it on, so I don’t think it’s in hibernation or sleep mode. Please help if you have any ideas. Thanks

I want to hook my 360 up to my computer monitor so I can have all my stuff in one room without lugging my TV upstairs is there anyway to do so?

I want to play my 360 on my computer monitor but how would i hook up my speakers to my 360? They have just the one prong that goes in to the hole, could i plug that right into my 360? Or could i use a pair of headphones with a USB connection?
Also, my monitor can only do 1024 x 768, would it even be worth hooking it up?

I want to be able to use my computer monitor as a TV and a computer monitor. and so i know people will say to buy a TV with computer inputs. But i don’t really want to spend more than 200 dollars and want to get something just a little bit bigger than 19 inch. if this is possible i would love to know where i can it if not any recommendations are appreciated.

How do I get TV on my computer monitor?

My graphics card specs say it has “TV Out” and it has an S-Video input (my graphics card is an ATI Radeon X1600 Pro / 512MB DDR2 / PCI Express).

But how do I get my cable outlet (i.e. the thing coming out of my wall that normally gets twisted into the back of a TV for cable) into my graphics card/computer/monitor as none of these have an input for this type of cable (I think it is called a coxial cable – basically the standard TV cable wire).

ok i have a widescreen tv already, and an HDMI cable, but i really want to just put my ps3 in my room, but all i have is a computer monitor. Where can i get an adapter that will allow me to plug a vga monitor into a ps3, and how much is it?

I am looking for the perfect computer monitor. I will be using it for the basic things, a few games here and there… also a big thing is that I don’t have a TV so I watch all of my shows online, and use my computer to watch DVDs. So I want something fairly large and something that you can see the screen from various angles kind of like a tv… any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
