I took apart my broken computer monitor and found 2 fluorescent lights. I want to light them up for an art project, but I can’t figure out what voltage they are or even find them on the internet. Anybody have hints that could help me out?

I want to get a flat screen TV/Display. I am also thinking about getting a computer down the line. Should I get an HDTV or a computer monitor? Are the two pretty much interchangeable at this point? Will an LCD computer monitor receive HD signals? In the past I have tried to hook up a computer to a tv, and it has looked choppy and distorted. Will the computer look right on an HDTV?

my computer works fine and i just got new speakers for it and when i plugged them it didn’t work. and i made sure that i plugged the monitor.

My computer powers on fine and is functional and i know its working cause i see myself logged on aim yet the computer monitor is blank yet the power is on and computer working fine. I’m wondering is this because there is too much dust on the fan? It takes like 10 or more tries before the computer finally powers on
