Everything is made for its own use so you wont be able to get it. techskill

Yes, you can. A HD TV is uses the same basic monitor display and adds speakers and a tuner.

I picked up a 24″ 1080p HDTV for my son with an HDMI input. Works great in a dorm room with his HDMI equiped HP laptop.

The only downside is if you get a 26″ 720p TV, text might actually be uncomfortably large as the resolution is 1280 x 720 pixels in a fairly large area. Rhyled

Yeah you can, I bought a 26inch lcd tv a few months ago and hooked it up to my computer and it works great.

However, make sure you get an HDMI cable to hook it up.
Do not use an S-video cable, the picture is horrible.
You will definitely be able to get the same benefits as with a computer monitor, if not more Shawn M
