Benji asked:

None of my computer monitors will plug into the back of my Macintosh computer, Do I need a certain type of Monitor or something?
Regular computer monitors…… The port at the end of the cord (monitor) is smaller than the port on the back of the mac! It is like that with every monitor and monitor cord that I have!
It is a Power Macintosh G3
How much would an adapter be for that? Im sure pretty cheap right?

You shouldn’t, but you didn’t say which Mac and which monitors you’re dealing with. You might need an adaptor like a Mini Display Port to DVI adaptor. That could then allow you to go DVI to DVI out to your monitor. If you’re on VGA then you might need two adaptors (mini to DVI and DVI to VGA; or perhaps just DVI to VGA depending on the Mac). jf

No, usually you need an adapter. My mac has a DVI port. Usually Mac’s come with the adapter.

What you have described to me means you are trying to hook up a VGA (blue) to a DVI (white) cable. I would ask apple about purchasing an Adapter from DVI to VGA. Or you could buy a nice monitor that has a DVI connection… Jon F
