computer monitor
David M asked:

My father complains that i spend too much time on the computer. He claims i will get radiation poisoning from it. If I sit roughly 2 feet away from the monitor around 3-4 hours a day, is it possible to get radiation poisoning from it? And if so how serious could it be?

hmm…not sure, but I know cellphones do, so buy a bluetooth and DO NOT put them in your pockets for obvious reasons. Seth A

No. You will however damage your eyes sitting that close for that long. But I wouldn’t worry about radiation.

That guy who mentioned cell phones is an idiot. Don’t listen to them. Cell phones give off just as much harmfull radiation as your wireless mouse, computer router, or electric toothbrush. It’s all Electro-magnetic radiation. It is non-ionizing and does not damage or mutate cells.

It’s just a scare story the cell phone companies made up to get people to buy bluetooth headsets. (Which also give off EM radiation… lol duh). mr_nice_guy1125
