How can I fix my keyboard/monitor/computer?

When starting up my computer the monitor stops loading at the Dell screen. I noticed that no lights turned on for my keyboard. Thinking that was the problem I purchased a new keyboard and that did not work either. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated!!!
