You need an Adapter for the three little plugs. Wii Addict
If you have a really fancy computer monitor, it might have RCA composite or component connectors. The composite video connector would be yellow and works with the cable that comes with your Wii. If you have a set of Red, Green, and Blue connectors on your monitor, then it might work with a component cable for the Wii, but that needs to be bought seperately and the Wii should be in 480p mode.
If your monitor had none of these you can either buy a TV tuner card for your computer (can buy those at most electronic stores) and play the Wii through your computer. To get the best quality though, and play straight through your monitor without your computer, you’d need a product that converts either composite or component cable signals to DVI or VGA connectors/signals. (depending on which your monitor uses). I don’t know if a simple component to DVI adapter would work, because I forget what type of component signal the Wii outputs (RGB, YPbPr, etc). grgurmg
