How can i play xbox on my computer monitor?

i am trying to connect my xbox 360 to my monitor which only has a vga input. My graphics card supports hdmi but is it possible to connect xbox to computer by hdmi , then make it run on the monitor with the existing vga.

   Not that I know of.

   That’s why I bought a TV with PC input. Monitors don’t typically come with component cable ports, but TVs often come with PC Input. You’re pretty much SOL unless you get another tv. Michael
