Please help me I have a monitor for a computer but I don’t have the things to go with it so I’d like to use it as a T.V

  1. TV guy says:

First you need a TV tuner. You can’t just watch TV from an antenna. For that you need a converter box, a VCR, a set-top box, anything with a tuner.
Then, hopefully your monitor can have more than a VGA input – maybe composite, s-video, or even DVI or component. Connect the TV tuner to the monitor with the appropriate cable and you are all set. TV guy

If the monitor is still connected to a relatively recent computer, the easiest thing you can do is get a USB or PCI tuner card.

If is it not. Just get a TV, it will be a lot easier.

If it has VGA, you can get a VGA TV tuner box, and use a digital antenna convertor box with it.

If it has DVI or HDMI, get an HD ATSC tuner with DVI or HDMI out.

You will need amplifies speakers in any case, and likely need a 1/8″ to RCA adaptor classicsat
