How do I record Xbox 360 gameplay using my computer if my Xbox is hooked up to my monitor as well?

I have a 360 and it is hooked up to my computer monitor through another port. I wanted to know if I can use my computer to record what’s coming through my Xbox input. I really need to know how so can anyone help me??

    You need a video capture card to record xbox 360 game-play through your computer. Alot of the high-end discrete graphics card includes it, but you may need to get one installed separately.
