There is no reason one needs to wear sun glasses while looking at a computer monitor. You don’t wear sunglasses while watching TV right? ♥♥The Queen Has Spoken♥♥

It could possibly be bad… any time your eyes are straining to see it is bad for them. That’s why it’s unhealthy to read in the dark. If your sunglasses are dark and you have a slightly dark monitor, it could be bad, but I guess if you can see well enough, you’re probably not going to hurt your eyes. Sou:P

It wouldn’t make a difference unless they have anti-glare coated lenses. Most sunglasses block out UV but not glare, a monitor doesn’t have UV.

But having a pair of good qaulity UV protected anti-glare sunglasses on permanently will be the best way to preserve your eyes Jannes

  8. ANF says:

You should restrict your time in front of a monitor to no longer than 1 hour anyway. Sun glasses are not good for your eyes unless in bright sunlight. If they are prescription sun glasses then there is no harm done. Still restrict time though. ANF

  9. Robrecht says:

Sunglasses block certain light frequencies. They offer no protection if you are thinking that the monitor is causing damage or something. Robrecht
