Is it ok to leave the computer monitor and/or speakers on when the PC is off?

So is it okay to leave it turned on? How about the computer’s speakers? Do I have to turn them off when the computer is not turned on? Will something happen if I leave them turned on?

Its not a problem. however you could potentially be upping your electric bill. I would turn them both off. if the monitor goes into some kind of sleep mode (no actual picture) then cool. but if not you could also be cutting its working life time. peace encyclo girl
You may leave them on without fear except running your electric bill up a bit. egoid
