My computer monitor will turn on for a few seconds then turn off. Any ideas on what is wrong?

maby. do these test ten times and if they dont work than get a new moniter . first check the box and make shure that all the cords are all conected. than check if all the cords on the moniter are conected than try the power on the box and wait ten second dose it turn off? if it dose than take it to geek squad in best buy if not than get a new moniter Caroline
