I have a HD computer monitor for my computer. It has HDMI and DVI input. I would like to watch TV with it. Of course i would have to buy a TV card to put in the computer. But what i would like to know is how can i watch tv without turning on my computer on. Use the monitor as it a normal tv with remote functions. I am running an extension coax line from my living room (which has the box from my tv cable provider) to my computer which is in another room. Is there any suggestions on how i can do this?
