Joey asked:

Hello!

Well, I have an NEC computer monitor and a pair of Cambridge SoundWorks speakers. The problem is that they are getting quite old and and they look outdated. They work fine, but I am moving into a new house and I want my room to look modern and new. I myself, do not have the money to pay for any new items. My parents say that I do not need new items because they still work. What should I do?

I switched Computer Desks. I use to have a corner one that was big. But I want something small now, that does not clutter up my room.

I was going to mount a Shelf above my computer monitor.
Would the Speakers effect the Monitor, if they are mounted on the wall above it. It’s not that far above it. I just don’t want my Monitor messed up. (If it means anything, it’s a flat screen.)

Is it ok to leave the computer monitor and/or speakers on when the PC is off?

Ghost asked:

When I shut the PC off, the computer monitors light turns from green to orange – I’m guessing that’s some kind of standby mode.

So is it okay to leave it turned on? How about the computer’s speakers? Do I have to turn them off when the computer is not turned on? Will something happen if I leave them turned on?

Hero asked:

I tried a different set of speakers and the static is still there. It’s only there when my computer monitor is on though. I tried full resetting, looking into my cpu is there were any unusual stuff to see but nothing. This issue is annoying because when i try to talk with people with a mic this static is heard on the outbound of my voice. Otherwise I wouldn’t be complaining about it at all.
