computer monitor problem
Phil H asked:

Hi
I would like to use my 26″ Bush hdtv as a computer monitor, I have a ati radeon hd5750 graphics card so i wont have any problems, However when i connected my graphics card and tv together via HDMI lead, its ok in resoultion 1366-768 but its not in hd, its like viewing it in vga quality. And when i try to change the resolution higher than 1366-768 the screen becomes blurry and horrible to look at.

Any suggestions would be alot of help!!!

How to fix my shaking LCD external computer monitor?

W asked:

I recently bought a new laptop (HP Pavailion with the Intel HD Graphics Card) but when I connect it to my existing LCD external computer monitor (Lenovo D221), I get a shakey image on the monitor. I’ve checked the resolution setting. I’ve checked that the monitor works with other computers. I tried to adjust the refresh rate on the new laptop, but it does not allow me to change it from the only setting of 60 Hz.

Would appreciate your suggestions! Much appreciated!

I have an HP pavilion full hd 1080p that came with windows vista.
But the thing is that i switch to windows 7 and i swear that the picture quality is not the same even tho it is 1080p.
Did i miss something? An update, a chipset? what?
The reason why i bought this computer was because it has a 23 inch full hd monitor, and it looked so beautiful, but now it just look’s normal.

Benpwnsnoobs asked:

I love computer gaming and currently have a nice 19 inch lcd monitor. I was considering purchasing a much larger TV to watch shows and movies in HD, but would like to get one that I could possibly hook my computer up to as well to game. Would an LCD or Plasma TV be better for computer gaming and how would I hook my computer up to the TV?

Is it possible to hook up an Xbox 360 to a widescreen computer monitor?

Lyght asked:

I recently received a 19″ widescreen TFT LCD HD-capable computer monitor, and I was wondering if there was somehow some way to hook my Xbox 360 up to it, because my TV is about 5 or 6 years old and the picture is terrible. I sometimes use my 7″ portable DVD player (which has widescreen) because the picture is better. Anyways, I was wondering if there was a way to hook the system up to the monitor.

The monitor only supports VGA and DVI input. Is there any kind of adapter that would allow me to convert the composite video (RCA) to VGA or DVI? I don’t know much about monitors and video accessories, etc. so any information would be appreciated.

If it can’t be done, I’m embarassed for asking and I should never speak again on this subject. Thanks.

Is there any sacrafice in quality in using a computer to connect to an LCD tv using a HD-15 input oppose to connecting to an LCD computer monitor. I am looking for a LCD tv (42 inches) with a resolution of 1920 x 1200. Am I right to asume that a LCD tv with 1080P capability will give me a 1920 x 1200 resolution from my computer?
