Ok I had an old computer that it’s screen was one of those old ones and my friend said he could give me his Monitor since he doesn’t have internet he doesn’t need. But any ways I just wanted to know if i could get it to work with my old CPU.

i just bought a new computer and lcd monitor, but my computer hasn’t arrived yet. i hooked my monitor up to my old computer[about 6 years old and definitely not the best], and the screen now has a yellow tint to it. i adjusted the colors and everything else i could think of, but nothing worked. is it because of the computer, and should i wait until the new one comes in? or is something wrong with the monitor itself? i’m not very good with this stuff. thank you!
i checked to see if everything was plugged in right, and even used a different cord, but its still yellow-ish. my old monitor looked fine. i’m sure the graphics card isn’t very good so maybe thats it.

okay so i have a new macbook october 08 version. but i also have a compaq monitor that went to my old computer
now that i’m full on mac i wanted to know how i can use the computer monitor as a 2nd screen. i’ve tried researching but found not much. what cables do i need? set-up? any answer responded to would be great

I have one of those old computer monitors that is really really big. I want to buy a new flat screen monitor. I want to know if 20 inches is big or small for a monitor.
