Hello ive just bought a new computer monitor which is alot better than my old screen.
Im having terrible sound quality comming out of the monitors speakers. ive also tried headphones and speakers (outside the monitor)

It makes a deep sort of sound that makes the sound quality quite unclear

Is there a way i can stop this terrible sound?

hi i just bought a brand new ps3 and i plugged it to my computer monitor using an hdmi to dvi cable and i wanted to know how i can get the sound working on my built in speakers in my monitor because when i play call of duty modern warfare 2 there is no sound. plz tell me what i can do to fix the problem.

I want to hook my xbox360 up to a computer monitor as a cheap solution to an HDTV…. however, i dont know which one to get i wan to spend under 250ish… i found one it was a gateway but didnt have speakers… any ideas?

i have a Gateway HD1700 monitor and i just bought a ps3 and was wondering if i could simply use my computer monitor as a tv instead of spending more money on a television?
if you have some suggestions do you have any sites that i could look at so that i know what i should buy?
and if i can hook my ps3 up to my monitor will i be able to hook my speakers up to my ps3 as well since my monitor doesn’t have any speakers?

my computer works fine and i just got new speakers for it and when i plugged them it didn’t work. and i made sure that i plugged the monitor.

I don’t have a TV, so I hooked up my PS3 to one of my computer monitors using a HDMI -> DVI cable. It works very well except for the small fact I overlooked – no sound. The monitor has DVI and VGA sockets, and obviously no speakers. I know I could use the optical out socket on the PS3, but I have no speakers with that attachment, and I’m not keen to spend big money on getting any.
