I have an Acer lap top. I have used my tv before as a monitor but have forgotten which buttons to push to change from my computer monitor to my TV……… Do you know which buttons?

I want to do this to so i can watch things in HD cause my monitor isn’t but my TV is. So i was wondering how can i go about on this?

what are the things i need? I have a Panasonic HD tv and the computer is kinda old like 2~5 years.

i am planning to buy a 26 inch lcd tv that has a computer hook-up.
what i want to know is will i be able to get the same benefits that i get with a computer monitor
such as changing the DPI zooming maginification resolution etc.

I’m trying to connect something to my computer monitor so that I can watch TV on it instead of on my television set (it would just make life much more easy). It’s a ViewSonic VX2235wm. It comes with DVI, VGA and speaker cables, but I don’t think it works with HDCP. Does anyone have any suggestions for what to buy? Or if it’s even possible?

My mother in laws monitor just took a dump on her and I cannot get out there to help her! I know how much the computer means to her and I’m trying to figure out how to help from home.

Also…when this gets fixed…can she use a dell memory board inside her computer when HER computer is not a dell?

Hi, I just found a computer monitor in my attic and i want to recycle to use for my xbox 360 and watch tv. All it has on the back is, a wire coming out of it with a VGA (male) so basically the wire is integrated into it. But is it still possible to connect my 360 and tv with this male VGA wire coming from the monitor? If i any can help it would be appreciated and a easy 5 stars.

I have a computer monitor with the dvi input and it has an hdmi input. Is there any way to make it into a tv monitor with comcast without having to get the hd box they have and just use their standard box? Thanks!
Planning on using it strictly for tv. Just with the monitor itself with no computer modem.
