How do I get my computer monitor display back to normal?

The power went out here last night, and upon turning on my computer I found it has a red film to the monitor. I don’t know how to fix it. It has nothing to do with resolution, all my settings are on default, I can’t change it in colors…please help? I have Vista, btw.

How come when i start my computer the monitor is always bright?

Whenever i log in to my computer the monitor gets really bright. When I’m playing one of my games it turns the monitor bright, but it changes back when I exit. I have Vista and a Dell SP2009 20″ LCD monitor. Before I installed the game it didn’t do this. Any suggestions?

How do I connect my Inspiron 1525 to my computer monitor?

I just got the Dell Insprion 1525-OS Vista. My other laptop the sony vaio has a docking station which can easily connect to additional perifials, keyboard/mouse, ect. It has been frustrating to learn the Dell laptop does not work with such a docking station. What do people do to connect the Dell Inspiron 1525 to another computer monitor without having to plug all these cables in and out… Dell should make something for this issue!
