What brand and size computer monitor?

I currently have a 5 year old 17″ Dell Flat panel monitor, I’m thinking I want something bigger. I hate having to scroll over to see a full page. Is a 20″ widescreen going to make a big differance. I don’t watch much movies on my computer, but I would like it to look sharp and less then 175 dollars.

If you don’t watch movies or play games, just get the cheapest one you can with the best contrast ratio.
You shouldn’t have to worry about the refresh rate or response time which can save you movie since monitors with high marks in these area’s tend to cost a lot more. Sparrow
