A LCD MONITOR does not have a built in tuner…
That’s the ONLY difference between the same model…
They are great if you know you’ll be connected to Satellite or Cable and using their HD Set top boxes for the next 10 – 15 years.
If you’re unsure, get the LCD TV.
If it was harmful to the eyes, do you think they would be allowed to sell it?
You can test a LCD TVat this site
Hope this help,
Well since your purpose is to use it on your Personal Computer. Go with LCD monitor. It’s more cheaper compared to LCD TV coz’ on LCD TV you can watch your fave television channel hence on LCD monitor due to the fact that it hasn’t got a tuner installed you won’t have any reception for your fave channel.
Hey do you have a place to buy LCD monitors? Here’s a site which I can recommend. Here:
As mentioned, an LCD monitor does not have a TV tuner.
But there might also be a difference in screen resolution and brightness (a monitor may have higher resolution at a certain price point, but TV may have more brightness for more viewing distance).
It all depends on what you will primarily use it for and how much you are willing to spend. You want a monitor to be sharp, but not too bright when close to it (but that can be adjusted down).
