    The cable connected to the monitor is the one to use. Look for the port on your laptop and plug it in. carrera0189

    Depends on the connector that is on your laptop. The most common is called a “VGA” connector. It has 15 pins/holes in two rows and is trapezoid in shape. This is the standard connector found on 99% of monitors currently sold. So it should work with the cable that cames free with the monitor. dewcoons
